For this weeks mediation I felt as if I needed to move more, so I responded to that by adding movement into my meditation. This type of meditation/mindfulness focuses heavily on breath (there is a trend here…) and links the breath to movements.
For this week I did some simple yoga sequences that focused heavily on breath and movement linkages with lots of repetition. With lots of repetition, the sequence becomes easier to remember and it is easy to get into a meditational flow.
I really enjoy this as an option but it is easier to get distracted during movement, but I find if I am in the right headspace this is an awesome option. The important thing I am learning is how important it is to be tied to your wellness and be responsive as opposed to tied to a specific goal just for the sake of completing a goal.
I am a certified vinyasa yoga teacher and so creating yoga flows comes easier to me, but if you wanted to do a flow there is one included at the bottom of this post that would be great to do with breath.
